## Description

The **Diesel Oxidation Catalyst System** is a catalytic converter that reduces diesel particulate matter and gaseous emissions using a precious-metal diesel oxidation catalyst bonded to a monolithic “flow-through” catalyst core.

The catalyst core is built from either corrugated, high-temperature-resistant stainless steel foil or thin-wall cellular ceramics. In both cases the core is packaged into a rugged stainless steel container for durable field service.
